It's past time to retire Kina to a sanctuary.

MCarmen,
Kina the dolphin has lived a brutal life.
She was captured 30 years ago in a massive killing expedition by
Japanese fisherman. Though she was among the lucky few dolphins selected
for captivity rather than slaughter, that hasn't stopped her from
suffering.
Kina spent her first years in an
entertainment park in Hong Kong before being transferred to a sea pen
where she and two other dolphin companions were research subjects for
the U.S. Navy and University of Hawaii. But for the past 17 months, Kina
has been alone after being relocated yet again, this time to a tiny tank in Hawaii's Sea Life Park.
Her new home is nothing like her natural
environment. The space is no bigger than a hotel swimming pool and lacks
any shade. The cramped space, dirty conditions and isolation are taking
their toll. Activists report she's lethargic and lonely.
Kina has suffered enough at human hands. The least she deserves is a chance to live out her days in peace and comfort. Urge Sea Life and the Department of Agriculture to retire Kina to an accredited sanctuary.
Thank you,
